Phase-1 Bridge

Phase-1 Bridge

The foot-over bridge near Qutub Plaza market in Gurugram Phase-1 had been neglected and had turned into a dumping ground, which had resulted in it being an eyesore for the people passing through the area. However, the situation changed when iamgurgaon partnered with Dharya Gambhir, who decided to transform the bridge into a scenic area by painting it with vibrant colours.

The artist Dharya Gambhir opted to depict the birds of the Aravali region that inhabit the city of Gurugram. The painting on the bridge showcases various species of birds, including peacocks, kingfishers, parrots, and many others, that are commonly found in the Aravali region. The artwork has been done with great attention to detail, and the birds have been portrayed in their natural habitats, surrounded by lush green trees and blooming flowers.

The transformation of the foot-over bridge into a scenic area has brought a new life to the area. The bridge has become a popular spot for locals and tourists alike to visit, take pictures and enjoy the beautiful artwork. The artwork has also helped in promoting environmental awareness and conservation of the Aravali region’s biodiversity.

Overall, the project has successfully achieved its objective of reviving the neglected foot-over bridge and bringing some liveliness to it.
