iamgurgaon
is an initiative aimed at awakening a responsible,
aware and vigilant populace in order to make our
city, Gurgaon, a better place to live in. It has
been envisaged to be a platform to encourage, empower
and enable residents of Gurgaon and other stakeholders
to improve the living conditions in their city.
iamgurgaon aims to bring together varied interest
groups including residents, the administration,
corporate organisations, schools, RWAs, NGOs and
developers, amongst others, in a collaborative partnership
to effect change and make a true ‘Millennium
City’ |

Based
on a survey conducted amongst Gurgaon citizens by
iamgurgaon in 2009 – Cleanliness, Traffic,
Infrastructure, Civic Sense, Water, Environmental
Awareness and Greenery emerged as the top 7 concerns
of the people of Gurgaon.
IAG after extensive discussions with HUDA and Municipal
Corporation of Gurgaon have identified tackling
the following 5 issues as part of their first phase
initiative. |
